Who I Am
I’m Nick Ianno, a Hip-Hop/Rap music producer and guitarist from Mississauga, Ontario. Music has been my passion from a young age, and over the years I’ve honed my craft in FL Studio, developing a signature sound that blends the modern rap landscape with tasteful nods to the classics.

 

My Background
My journey started with a guitar in my hands and a drive to create something different. What began as experimenting with riffs and loops quickly evolved into full productions, where I found my natural fit in Hip-Hop and Rap. Early on, I made my mark through remixes — reworking tracks from The Notorious B.I.G. to Baby Keem — which sharpened my ear for detail and taught me how to fuse old-school influence with the modern wave. Over time, I’ve built a reputation for versatility, producing over 700 beats that artists can use to tell their own stories.

 

My Skillset
Over the years, I’ve developed a wide range of creative skills, including:

• Beat Production – hard-hitting drums, layered melodies, and polished arrangements.

• Remixing & Sampling – reimagining classics and modern tracks into something brand new.

• Vocal Recording – working hands-on with artists to capture clean, professional vocals.

• Cover Art & Visuals – designing artwork that matches the sound and elevates the release.

• Creative Direction – guiding projects from concept to execution, making sure music and visuals connect as a whole.

From solo projects to collaborations with a growing roster of artists, I’ve become a respected name in the Toronto music scene. I continue to evolve my sound and build a catalog that reflects both my versatility and my vision.

 

The Drive In
I also host The Drive In — a show that gives fans a closer look at rising local stars and the stories behind their music. Built to be mobile, the show can happen in any city, bringing audiences closer to the culture and conversations shaping today’s sound.
